The Hotel...Cahal Pech

We prepare to check in at Cahal Pech and were shown to are cabana down a long path into the end of the jungle clearing where cabanas with porches overlook the city below. The room is basic, budget with some annoying amenities left out like shampoo, a glass, soap holder in shower, crappy towels, worned bed spreads, and no bar to hang your clothes. perhaps, I am being too critical and should retire to the bar which my vision and mental abilities will not be as astute.

The grounds are set in a way to be very pleasing to the eye. The hotel has 2 pools and jacuzzi on a bi level set up that leads to the bar on the third level. What a view, another million dollar view at budget rates.

We have a cabana room with deck the has a hammock strung across to rest. All this with a vista that overlooks the mountain countryside.
