A large standing stone caught my attention. I asked our guide about the carvings on the stone. He said it depicted a king who was victorious in battle killing the enemy. The three of us talked about how ideas from completely different culture and different parts of the world seen similar. Here was a standing stone. Were there more? Is there a stone circle waiting to be unearthed? The Mayans were interested in astrology. Here is me getting a photo of Bill with an old friend.
